Hello everyone! Hope the Summer semester has started great and you are ready for a “new” grad seminar series. The grad seminar Left to the Reader is coming back this summer!  

Left to the Reader is a biweekly seminar series run BY grad students and FOR grad students! After a long time of online working, this is finally an opportunity to get together as graduate students, get to know each other and share our experiences. 😊 

Research interests in our department sprawl across multiple disciplines. The talks will cover different mathematics or statistics topics and do not require any prior knowledge of the specific argument. It is a great opportunity to see what others are working on and give a talk to showcase your work! 

If you are interested in sharing your experience by giving a talk, feel free to contact the organizers. 

Our first talk will take place this coming Thursday, May 19th at 4 pm. More details to come early next week. Please feel free to come along, listen to some talks and join us for a drink afterwards 😊
